The rich cultural diversity of our school is enhanced by the talented staff whose origins are from afar. Let's meet some of our staff.
Mr. Ahmet Taslama is a guidance councilor for grades 9 & 10. He was born in Turkey. He arranges college visits for students, plans schedules, and administers school wide tests. He is a vital part of administration who helps keep the wheels of our schools running.
Mrs. Ayse Kilic is also from Turkey. She teaches IT and Computer courses in our school. She is also a great resource for teachers who get caught up with technical questions. We can always rely on her to help solve our problems as she gives her best to her students and colleagues.
Meet Mr. Ermek Djunushev, our senior college counselor, who is from Kyrgyzstan. His accessibility in helping students is legendary in our school. With a great sense of humor, he relates students well and helps them achieve their goals of getting into college. Although his photo may not look like it, he is really a funny guy! Smile Mr. Ermek!!
Mrs. Neda Oren is a teacher of social studies at Frontier STEM. She is 2nd generation Lebanese and married to a Lebanese national. She spent over 20 years overseas with 15 years in the United Arab Emirates. She cooks Lebanese food all the time and specializes in deliciousness and tummy filling. She loves to meet students with different backgrounds and enjoys getting to know new cultures. Her favorite event of the year is the Frontier Multicultural Festival.
